By using any of the provided CS department services you agree to the following terms.
- You may not use the services for any illegal activity.
- Blockchain-related activities and cryptocurrency mining are prohibited.
- Any intentional misuse or abuse of services is prohibited.
- Do not attempt to circumvent permissions, access controls, quotas, or security mechanisms.
- Do not deliberately damage, deface, or interfere with accounts, systems, or services.
- Do not disrupt, degrade, or intefere with other users, servers, or network operations.
- Do not violate academic honesty with department resources.
- Excessive or abusive resource usage is not allowed.
- Network scanning, port scanning, or similar activities are prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
- Do not use the services to host, distribute, or facilitate malware, exploits, or attacks.
- Follow all applicable ITC rules and policies.
¶ Resource and Network Use
- Be respectful of CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and network bandwidth as these are shared resources.
- Activities that negatively impact performance or stability for others may be limited or terminated.
- Printer access is not to be abused.
¶ Monitoring and Enforcement
- We reserve the right to monitor user activity to ensure system stability, security, and policy compliance.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any service at any time for misuse, abuse, or violation of these terms.
