This is an old revision of the document!
.debfile resides, usually
.debfile on your system.
sudo dpkg -i ./dropbox.deb
Once installed it will ask you to allow it to download and install a proprietary daemon, allow it and wait. If it does not prompt you run
dropbox start -i. Once complete your browser should pop-up asking for your dropbox credentials, login and your Dropbox should be at
sudo apt-get -f install
First start dropbox by running this command
dropbox start -i
Then run this command to enable startup on boot.
dropbox autostart y
